30 Day Challenge #15: Family Picture
Quick sketches of my son when he was 6 (he is now 16), My hubby, and my daughter when she was 3 (she is now 10).
30 Day Challenge #13: Comic *kind of a cheat but I’m sick so be nice
The cheat is I drew this a while back. We bought the kids a slip-n-slide. Hubby is very tall, it wasn’t pretty but we found it hilarious. Again old drawing but still makes me laugh.
Germs are jerks……
I have been sick since Saturday night, no sketching at all just lying in bed fighting nausea. Finally feel like I can stand up. Missed out on Challenge days but I will pick up tomorrow. Hope everyone else is in good health.
30 Day Challenge #10: Favorite Candy
2nd Challenge entry…Yep that would be me shamefully hoarding all the tubs of Cotton Candy. I don’t share with the kids or Hubby they are my most favorite.
30 Day Challenge #9: Favorite TV Show
I was crushing on http://thekartoonkid.blogspot.com/ and asked her about the “30 Day Drawing Challenge” she was doing. She was so sweet she sent me the list of challenges. Thank you…this is my first. Love Modern Family every character cracks me up but, Gloria and Cam are my absolute tops. Both Voluptuous Divas.
Arrggghhhh
My warm up attempt with Watercolor……not a victory. This is the reason I so love my friends art work http://www.fluximagery.com/ http://www.christiedrahnak.com/ both these ladies are such wonderfully talented artists. I am more of the scatter-brain person, I’m not really sure if viewed all together my work even looks like its done my the same person….. Not a dig on myself more of a observation.
Escape
All this week I have been doodling this girl. She is searching and chasing something.
Sometimes your brain is subtle sometimes its kinda blatant.
Renewing my Joy
Lately I have been slacking, I don’t have direction or inspiration I am kinda drawing just because.
Its been a crummy work week and I am hoping to use that to nudge myself to find a way to focus on what I love to do and what brings me joy.
